Japanese Dinner Theater?

Apparently in Japan, it is completely socially acceptable for men to visit restaraunts where waitresses/actresses play roles in a sort of fettish dinner live performance combo. Now the trend is becoming popular among Japanese business women, as well. They visit restaraunts where waiters dress and act like underaged school boys. There is not necessarily anything sexual about the whole thing, but it does not seem like something that would catch on with mainstream America.
