Corporate Sponsorship of the Olympics
The Olympics, which normally provide corporations with a venue for low cost global positive advertising through sponsorships, are now under fire after the recent happenings in Tibet. Many individuals and human rights organizations feel that not enough is being done, and China could be pressured to look into the situation and reopen Tibet if Coca Cola and other major brands threatened to pull out of endorsement and support deals.
