Japan birthrate fall is # 1 in the world

People over the age of 65 now make up 22.1 percent of Japan's total population as of last October, while those under 14 represent only 13.5 percent of the total.

Though this is probably good in the short term since the land mass can't contain as many people as other countries, they will eventually need to find a balance.
